Tours are dedicated to all participants regularly registered to NIR 2025 and accompanying people.  

To select your preferred tour/s, please complete and pay your registration to NIR 2025, and then enter again with your credentials and click on “Social Programme & Tours” button to book your seat for the selected tour/s and include accompanying person, if any (maximum 3 people). Please be aware that you can book 1 tour only for 9 June and one tour only for 12 June. Each tour can be paid by credit card only.

Confirmation and invoice will be sent by email from the Organising Secretariat, before the tour start, with all the logistic details to smooth your participation.

A minimum of participants is required for each tour (please check the table above); if the minimum is not reached by 16 May 2025, the tour will be cancelled for lack of participation, and you will be informed by the Organising Secretariat, and the refund will follow on your credit card.

Departure of the tour at 17.00 from Largo Argentina. Largo di Torre Argentina is a square in the historic center of Rome located at the border between Rioni Pigna, Sant’Angelo and Sant’ Eustachio.
The square was built between 1926 and 1929 Demolishing an old quarter medieval built on an important area Roman archaeology (which also includes the medieval tower of Papito).

  • Largo di Torre Argentina is also known for host the Argentine theatre as well as the most ancient feline colony of the city.
  • Piazza Navona is one of the famous monumental squares of Rome, decorated in a monumental style by Pamphili family by papa’s will Innocent X (John the Baptist Pamphili) with the typical shape of an ancient stadium.
  • The church of San Luigi dei Francesi is a place of Catholic worship in Rome overlooking the square of the same name, not far from Piazza Navona, in the rione Sant’Eustachio. It is the church national of the French in Rome since 1589.
  • The Pantheon is a building of Rome ancient located in the rione Pigna in the center historical, built as a dedicated temple to all past gods, present and future. It was founded in 27 B.C. by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus, who dedicated to the goddess Cybele and all the gods. It was rebuilt by Emperor Hadrian supposedly from 112-115 until about 124 d.C. after the fires of the 80 and 110 d.C. had damaged the previous building of age augustea.

Street art tour

Experience an authentic and colorful side of Rome!
This tour will take you to discover around 30 murals, among the most spectacular in the Rome, as we walk through two neighborhoods off the typical tourist routes.
Just 3 km south of the historic center, we will explore Garbatella, a neighborhood famous for its unique “Roman Barocchetto” style architecture. Here, among picturesque alleys and historic buildings, the murals tell the stories of men and women who shaped Rome’s social history, including the brave resistance against fascism.
Midway through the tour, we’ll enjoy a relaxing stop where you can savor a handcrafted gelato or a quality coffee (at travelers’ own expense).
The tour continues towards Tor Marancia, home to the celebrated Condominium Museum, an extraordinary open-air museum that has attracted artists from around the world and was even presented at the Venice Biennale. Here you will admire about 20 large-scale murals nestled among colorful residential buildings. Your guide will share the stories behind the artworks and the artists themselves, including renowned names like Diamond and Guido Van Helten.

Campo de Fiori is a square in Rome, between via dei Giubbonari and piazza della Cancelleria, at the borders of the Parione and Regola districts.
Until the fifteenth century the square did not exist as such, and in its place, there was some cultivated gardens, hence the name. According to an unreliable tradition, the square should insteadhis name to Flora (a woman loved by Pompey, who had built his theatre nearby).

The Stage of Domitian (Circus Agonalis) is the first example of a masonry stadium from Greco-Roman antiquity, reserved for athletic competitions (running, wrestling, boxing) and was located in the current Parione. After the ruin in the Middle Ages, the space on which it stood was never permanently occupied, and is today, Piazza Navona.
