TRAVEL
BY PLANE – Leonardo da Vinci Airport, Fiumicino (Rome)
Drive along the Fiumicino-Rome motorway for about 20 km, enter the EUR district and travel another 3 km to viale Umberto Tupini, 65.
Get the Leonardo Express train which arrives at Termini station in 32 minutes. From here, see below, BY TRAIN.
BY TRAIN
Rome has two main railway stations, Termini and Tiburtina.
Termini station is served by underground lines B and B1, Tiburtina station by line B.
Once you arrive at the station, get the metro B or B1 towards Laurentina. Get off at the EUR Magliana stop. From there, walk for 600 m to viale Umberto Tupini, 65.
BY CAR
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare, take exit no. 26 – direction EUR Roma and continue straight on via Pontina and via Cristoforo Colombo for around 2.5 km.
Arrived at Piazzale dello Sport, turn right into Piazzale Pier Luigi Nervi/viale dell’Umanesimo, continue in largo del Ciclismo, turn right into viale dell’Umanesimo/largo Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and finally turn right into viale Umberto Tupini.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Subway: Line B, Eur Magliana stop (600 meters away)
Bus: Line 709 (Astronomia-Gandhi stop); lines 31, 771, 780 (Tupini-Astronomia stop)
Taxi: To reserve a taxi by telephone, call 063570. The nearest station is in viale Europa (400 meters away)
VISA INFORMATION
Italy is one of the countries of the so called Schengen Area. Participants are requested to familiarize themselves with their own applicable visa requirements well in advance of the Conference. Present worldwide security regulations result in generally in more stringent visa requirements and associated visa processing time. All important information and application for visa forms can be found on the dedicated webpage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where a guided procedure will help you decide if you need to apply for a visa based on your nationality, country of residence, reasons for your visit and length of stay. If you need a visa for Italy, you will be provided with all the information and forms needed to submit your application.
NIR 2025 organizers will not intervene with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant and her/his possible accompanying persons.
ATTENTION
- VISA application may even require 120 days ! Check it NOW !
- VISA application fee is from Euro 16,00 to Euro 116,00 per person to be paid at application, in local currency, to the Consulate or Embassy directly.
- Presentation of the documentation requested does NOT ensure issuance of the VISA
- Do NOT start VISA process before being accepted to the event
